Eisa Ashibi is an Okinawan Eisa dance and performance group based in Melbourne.

Eisa is a drum dance from the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa. It is commonly performed in festivals, events and general celebrations. The contagious rhythm, performers’ energy and typical costumes are the main characteristics of their performances.

Ashibi means “play” in Okinawan dialect, and for the group, it means having fun and exuding contagious joy to the audience.
